As Chief Development Officer, Neil Brown has responsibility for all of Archstone’s development activities, including the company’s multibillion dollar pipeline. He has been with the company for 16 years and has been developing apartment communities for more than 28 years. During that time, Mr. Brown has overseen the development of more than $3 billion of apartments, representing more than 30,000 units. Currently, he is overseeing a development pipeline with a total cost in excess of $4 billion.

Before joining Archstone, Mr. Brown started the Florida regional office of JPI and served as its Regional Vice President and Regional Partner. Prior to JPI, Mr. Brown was a partner with Trammell Crow Residential in South Florida.

Mr. Brown earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree with High Honor from Georgia Tech. He served four years in the United States Army as an officer in the Corps of Engineers and then attended the Harvard Business School where he earned his MBA.

Mr. Brown is also a member of the Blue Flight Multifamily Council for ULI and a member of NAHB’s Multifamily Leadership Board.
