The Pike by the Pier. Originally built in 1902, the Pike remains, though newly renovated with great restaurants and entertainment for the whole family.

Catalina Island. Go for a horseback ride, snorkle or shop the island. While you're there, be on the lookout for buffalo, descendents from those left behind after filming a Hollywood western.

Aquarium of the Pacific. Fifth largest aquarium in the nation with displays of all ecosystems within the Pacific Ocean. Also boasts educational programs and a hands-on sting ray exhibit.

The Queen Mary. A luxury ocean liner from 1936 - 1967, it now floats in the Long Beach Harbor as a museum and hotel.

Shoreline Village. Catch one of the many boat tours out of Rainbow Harbor or stop for a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants lining the waterfront.

Long Beach Performing Arts Center. See a musician, a ballet or any number of theatrical acts that make their way through the city.
