Built in 1931 as the Lido Hotel, Archstone Santa Monica was deemed a historical landmark in 2001 by the City of Santa Monica for its use of Art Deco Architecture and its storied past. Rumor has it that the Lido Hotel was once a popular hang-out for acting icons like Humphrey Bogart and Marilyn Monroe.
