Archstone Apartments’ Free Online Photo Contest
Online city guide to be a source of inspiration for photo opportunities
capturing “what you love about where you live”
Santa Ana, Calif. — February 10, 2010 — Kelly Wardle, editor of Citysearch Los Angeles, an online guide to the most popular and undiscovered places in the community, joins the panel of judges for Archstone’s free online photo contest. Wardle and the judges will review photos that seek to capture “what people love about where they live” and select a winner of the grand prize, a Las Vegas Love package valued at more than $2,000, including round-trip airfare for two, two nights in a Tower Suite at Treasure Island Casino and Resort, a relaxing massage at Oleksandra Spa & Salon and tickets to a live show.
“There are unique and hidden gems in every city that are special to people with a variety of interests and backgrounds, and it’s my job to help people uncover exactly what those are.” Wardle said. “It’s my honor to see firsthand what people love and value about where they live through the creativity in each photo submission.”
To enter the photo contest, capture a photo that shows what you love about where you live – from your home to your favorite local hangout or hotspot. Submit your photo via email to LiveLoveArchstone@archstonemail.com by February 21, 2010. Judges will select the photo contest winner based on the following criteria: visual interest (50%), content (25%) and creativity (25%).

The free online photo contest is part of Archstone’s resident appreciation and leasing promotion – “Live. Love. Archstone.”, running from February 11 through 14 at its apartment communities in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco/Bay Area, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, Dallas and Houston.
