Two Weeks Left to Enter “Taste of Archstone” Video Cooking Contest
Winning entry of online video cooking contest to receive Napa Valley weekend getaway grand prize
DENVER — August 31, 2010 — Creative chefs, videographers and YouTube enthusiasts from New York to Los Angeles have submitted a surprising number of great videos featuring their “Taste of Archstone” creations to YouTube for a chance to win a Napa Valley getaway package.
With more than two weeks to go, there’s plenty of time left to prepare a meal, produce a video and enter the online cooking video contest, which is sponsored by Archstone, a leader in apartment operations and investment, as part of its “Taste of Archstone” leasing expo.
“The incredible creativity and cooking skills of our residents and fans is clearly on display in the entries we’ve received so far,” said Donald Davidoff, Archstone’s group vice president of strategic systems and head of marketing. “I’m looking forward to watching the videos that are still in production and will soon be submitted. Even more exciting will be seeing who the members of the YouTube community crown as the winner in late September.”
The winning video contest entry will receive a luxury Napa Valley getaway package valued at approximately $4,500, including round-trip airfare, three nights’ accommodation at the Chanric Inn featuring the Hot Air Balloon Package, a cooking class at the Culinary Institute of America, dinner at the Wine Spectator Greystone Restaurant and more.
To enter the online video cooking contest, upload a video to www.youtube.com before 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 15 that expresses your personality and highlights your cooking skills as you prepare a dish with local ingredients. Video contest entries must not exceed two minutes in length, and must include “Taste of Archstone” in the video title and description. Online public voting will take place September 16 through September 25. The video contest entry that receives the most “likes” at the end of the voting period will win the Napa Valley getaway package.
